ALL ABOUT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2011:
On Tuesday 30 August 2011 from 12:00 to 13:00 hrs, EAIR holds its Annual General Meeting in the Aula A in Building A of the Warsaw School of Economics on 24 Rakowiecka Street during the EAIR Warsaw Forum 2011.
According to the EAIR Constitution the General Assembly is the assembly of all members. The meetings of the General Assembly are the General Meetings. The General Meeting held annualy during the EAIR Forum and is called the Annual General Meeting (AGM). All authority accrues to the Assembly c.q. the membership that has not been granted to other bodies by law or by the EAIR Constitution.
During the AGM the Executive Committee presents the Annual Report, announces the outcome of the elections for members of the Executive Committee and discusses matters which are laid down in the Constitution, such as financial matters or membership issues. Also topics of importance which are not laid down in the Constitution are discussed, such as matters concerning EAIR as an Association, e.g. its strategy.
Everyone interested in EAIR business is most welcome to attend. Although only EAIR members have the right to vote, non-members are also encouraged to express their ideas for new activities and to comment on existing ones.
There are no handouts available in Warsaw. During the meeting, (part of the) various enclosures and a Power Point presentation are projected on screen.
