The EAIR Forum Fighting for Harmony - students, society and the academy in tune will take place at Vilnius University.

Vilnius University is concentrated in the Old campus and in four sites in the city. The Old campus is the complex of University buildings that extends over a whole block of the Old Town. Bounded by four streets, the campus is composed of 12 buildings, some of them having multiple structures, the Church of St. John, and the belfry. The buildings are arranged around 13 courtyards of different shape and size. The Rector’s Office, the Library, the Faculties of Philology, Philosophy, and History are located in the Old campus. Other faculties are scattered all over the city. All buildings of the Old campus are within convenient walking distance of each other and located in the Old Town of the city.

The EAIR Forum Vilnius 2009 will take place at the Old campus of Vilnius University. The main Forum venue will be in the Rector’s Office building (Universiteto st. 3, LT-01513 Vilnius). This is where all sessions, the exhibitors, the posters and the EAIR Forum office will take place.

Keynote plenaries will be taken in St. Johns' Church in the Grand Courtyard.

Computer facilities will be provided at the Faculty of Philology, wireless network connection will be available in the whole Old campus.

Lunches, coffee/tea breaks and the Newcomers’ Welcome Lunch will be served at the Old campus as well.
