There are several categories of EAIR membership:

• Full members - full members pay € 150 for 2012;
• Reduced members - members coming from Central or Eastern European countries not belonging to the EU can apply for a discount of 50%;
• Reduced members - colleagues who are working in countries designated as 'Least developed' or 'Other low income countries' by the Developed Assistance Committee (DAC) of the OECD can apply for a discount of 50%;
• Student members - student membership is open to any individual who is a student, in a full-time Higher Education programme. Students can apply for a discount of 50%;
• Emeritus members - emeritus membership is open to any individual who is retired and has been a member of the Association for a minimum of four years preceding retirement. Emeritus members can apply for a discount of 33 1/3%;
• Corporate members - in case of 4 or more regular members coming from one and the same institution or body, the fourth member is granted a feewaiver;
• Distinguished members.
